How can I use the Skills Grid to ask about more specialized work experience?
You have the option of hiding the Skills Grid and replacing it with Custom Questions asking about specialized experience. CDLSuite provides the application Skills Grid for applicants to include a history of their experience in general areas, such as CDL-B or flatbed driving. However, many carriers feel that non-driver skills, such customer relations, are more revealing in evaluating the quality of a potential hire than the traditional driver experiences. You can create Custom Questions asking about specialized experience, for example work in oil fields. From your Profile Home Page click on the Profile Setup button and scroll to the General section. Once there, find the option that says “Remove "Driving/Hauling Experience" grid from application?”. Checking this box easily hides the experience grid on the application.
